Want to sell more on eBay & Amazon? Just LIST MORE! This is why it is so important to learn how to properly find product to sell on eBay & Amazon.

It is a simple fact of numbers. The more items you have to sell online, the better chance you have to be found by a potential buyer searching. Not just with selling, but with anything. Moving more product can result from increasing your product exposure and variety. Yes, this seems simple, but did you know that the wide variety of product means buyers can find and buy items from you they never intended to buy?

Lets say you have a few styles of sunglasses that are great money makers and you want to simply make sure you can move as much as possible on eBay & Amazon. Simple…..add more listings. I don’t mean more of the item in question, but really anything. If you are moving a good amount of sunglasses, how about adding anything that may be relative? Not just lens cleaners or cases. What about Hats? Goggles? Scarfs? Hoodies?

The more items you have the better chance you will be discovered as a seller when buyers start searching for your items. Someone may not be looking for sunglasses. but a hat. Because you sell hats, they find you, review your other listings, and see  great deal on your top selling sunglasses. WHAM.. its a sale. They buyer would never have found you if you didn’t diversify since they were not looking for sunglasses to begin with.

Think of it this way with an analogy. A friend of yours bets your to ride you bicycle through an open parking lot blind folded without hitting anything. After he blindfolds you he tells you that he is throwing 3 bricks into the lot somewhere. If you don’t hit any bricks, you win the bet. Since this lot is very large, you are not too worried. You ride and win the bet. Next he tells you that he will offer the same bet, but will toss 100 bricks into the lot. Suddenly you may not be as comfortable riding that bike blind folded.

The biker is the buyer searching and the bricks are the variety of product you are selling. The more you add, the more likely it will be that a buyer searching for anything will hit one.
Adding more product isn’t always about buyers finding that new and added product. It is also about helping buyers to find you as a seller and to see what else you offer.

All of this comes down to proper product sourcing and good customer service skills. Learning how to source product to resell on eBay & Amazon and treating each customer and their order the right way will get you to the eBay Top Rated Seller and Amazon Featured Merchant Status faster than expected.
